Biography

Morgan Duncan serves as a Functional Systems Analyst within Academic Success. In this role, Morgan aids student and academic success by supporting the units connected to the competency-based education programs, known as Jayhawk Flex. Some current responsibilities include managing existing KU technology and systems; strategic communication with units; evaluation and implementation of new systems; problem-solving to meet student and departmental needs; and providing training to users. 

Before joining Academic Success, Morgan worked in higher education as an Academic Advisor in Jayhawk Academic Advising, and as an Enrollment Advisor for graduate programs at a private university. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fort Hays State University and has years of experience working in the mental health field. Though her positions and titles have changed over the years, Morgan continues to find joy by assisting others in a variety of capacities. Morgan is a native Kansan, a natural problem solver, a member of KU’s Native Faculty and Staff Council and volunteers regularly at Cedar Cove Conservation and Education Center in Louisburg, KS.
