What is Qtrac and why do we use it?

To put it succinctly, Qtrac is an advanced queue management system that helps Jayhawk Academic Advising manage their student visits and assist with projecting wait times for Drop In Advising. Qtrac reduces or eliminates the time students have to spend in line and decreases in-person/in-office congestion. Since Qtrac is a mobile queue management software, students from any location can join the queue to meet with their advisor, and they do not have to come to campus to wait in a line. Qtrac also allows for advisors to prioritize students who have been waiting the longest to make sure the best service is provided.
